Tales of the Fabled Lands is a story-based card game set in the world of Harkuna and designed by Jamie Thomson. The game is for 2-4 players, each of which are trying to create story tricks. Story tricks are worth more points with the more cards that are used in each story. Other players can stop someone elses story by playing a 'The End' card, thus stopping them gaining more points. The deck comprises of Story Cards: Romance, Epic and Tragic; Embellishment Cards to play at any time making your stories better, aiding play and hindering your opponents stories and The End cards. The top example card below shows part of a romantic story line and the card back. The bottom example is an Embellishment card and a 'The End' card.
